The proposed subdivision is located in Gonzales on the east side of Joe Sevario Road approximately 850’ south of Merritt Evans Road and just north of Glen Williams Road in Council District 5 and is zoned Medium Intensity Residential (RM). The application is on behalf of Ascension Properties, Inc. by Quality Engineering and Surveying, LLC.

The property consists of +/-17.5 acres. The applicant is proposing a subdivision containing 52 lots with a minimum size of 7,050 square feet. There are 25 lots in
the 50’ width range, 24 lots in the 60’ width range and 3 lots in the 70’ width range. The proposed subdivision will contain 1.00 acres of park space, with the
entire acre being upland space which complies with the major subdivision regulations. Approximately 95% of the property is outside of the 100-year floodplain
with the remaining 5% within the AE Flood Zone with a Base Flood Elevation of approximately 16’ as noted on the Preliminary Plat and is not proposed for development. The applicant is proposing a sewer treatment plant to be donated to Ascension Parish, subject to approval by DEQ. Drainage will be detained in 2 ponds discharging to a lateral of Henderson Bayou and eventually to the Amite River. (The Cottages at Savannah Row Subdivision)
